Contemporary
The following pictures I have taken for my photographic project Contemporary. The project is inspired by the idea of creating a contemporary document and what might be better than taking a picture. To keep the moment as clear as possible I only used one flash unit and one reflector. I abandon the option of backlight and captured the faces in front of a black mollitan. After the
shooting the model was invited to choose the most liked photo – for me a very interesting part of the project. That followed a slight post processing. Contemporary is primarly a very personal project. It creates a contemporary document for me – a fixed moment of a friendship. Therefore, I kept the cycle of people small. Among good friends of mine, you also see
my sister and my girlfriend. I want to thank all of you for taking part and for most notably being there. I consider to come back to Contemporary and taking some photos of the same people under the same terms and conditions in some years.
I’m already looking forward to the next round and I am curious about the signs of time. Good job brother! Thank you for letting me be part of it.
